We are going to take a much needed vacation and then move up our plans to launch our new Disability Radio Network.

Description:	SEE EVENT FLYER HERE WHO: Everybody interested in supporting athletes participating in Adaptive Sports in Northeast Florida WHAT : Pasta dinner and a movie screening WHEN :Thursday , March 11, 6-9 pm WHERE: Jacksonville Golf and Country Club View location on Google Map WHY: Come celebrate the Challenged Athletes Foundation support of our athletes in Northeast Florida HOW: Reservations are required and space is limited .Reserve your spot ASAP by emailing alice.krauss@brookshealth.org or calling 904-910-9738. You may also register as directed on the attached flyer. Challenged Athletes Foundation (www.challengedathletes.org) has provided grants to many of our Brooks Adaptive Sports and Recreation Program (www.brooksadaptivesports.org) athletes to help them cover the cost of adaptive sport equipment, travel to competition and training in their sport of choice. This year, the Gate River Run welcomes the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) as a new charity partner. All registered runners have an opportunity to donate and raise money for our local athletes through the CAF Race for a Reason Program. Come to the party and meet our local athletes! Additionally, special guest ,Charlie Engle ,will be on hand to share his story of success through adversity. Charlie is a world renowned adventure racer and ultra runner . He is an advocate for CAF and will run in the River Run to raise awareness of the CAF support of local athletes with disabilities. His movie, Running the Sahara, is a documentary that follows Charlie and 2 other runners as they run across the Sahara desert over a 111 day period travelling over 4300 miles. Come enjoy the movie and a pasta dinner too! The price for the Thursday event is $25 per person which includes a pasta dinner. All proceeds will go directly to support our local athletes through Challenged Athletes Foundation. SEE EVENT FLYER HERE
