From service dog to surf dog

Service Animals Service dogs are specially trained to assist people with disabilities. It’s a highly specialized job. And not every dog is up to it. Ricochet began training the moment she was born. But it just wasn’t a good fit.

She was never going to be a service dog. But she had another talent that was just as valuable. She could surf. Not only that, she could help disabled people surf. They can lie on a specialized board. And Ricochet helps them keep upright. She may not be a traditional service dog. But she found a way to help, anyway.
